Statement of Philosophy: I understand that when you enroll your child in my day care, you are entrusting me with your most precious gift from God. Not only to provide for their physical needs but to nurture and guide them through each of their developmental stages. Your child will feel loved, respected and safe in my home while enjoying a positive and fun environment that also stimulates them intellectually while meeting the needs of their physical, social and emotional development. This is accomplished through a balance of free play and structured learning activities including preschool activities, arts and crafts, music, exercise, creative play, group and individual play, and indoor and outdoor play (television viewing is almost non-existent and not missed). I am a strong believer in reading to children and I encourage independence and responsibility which promotes a positive self-esteem. I believe in a partnership between parents and caregiver in order to provide consistent guidance and love to enable the children to thrive, not just survive. I have been blessed to have been able to share in the lives of countless children who have left footprints on my heart. I would be honored to be given the opportunity to share in your child's life.
